Dr Prasad is a first generation entrepreneur and has been responsible for transforming into a group company strategy promoting series of new ventures in high technology business with equal emphasis on social sectors particularly agriculture both India and Overseas.
His key expertise in India and Overseas includes Agriculture Policy Formulation, Project Planning and Development, Development of Organic Production System with Electronic Traceability, Market intelligence, ICT to Enhance Agricultural Production, and Supply Chain Management. Rural housing and alternative energy are other areas of his keen interest.
Dr Prasad has more than 14 years of experience in Green Technology Development and Development of Sustainable agriculture; Dr Prasad is the pioneer in development of liquid biofertilizer in India and development of an Innovative Microbial Technology Package for Reclamation of Problematic Soil.
Dr Das has 37 years of experience at various senior positions including Deputy Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the apex body of Agricultural Research, Education and Application of Technology in India.
The areas of professional skill and expertise include management and development programming, policy formulation, coordination and monitoring involving high level inter-organizational and interpersonal communications coupled with consensus-building, negotiation, networking and multidisciplinary capacity building.
The highlights of his achievements are establishment of Farm Science Centres in more than 600 rural districts of India; establishment of 44 Agricultural Technology Information Centres; establishment of National Research Centre for Women in Agriculture; Creation of a comprehensive resource base of Indigenous Technical Knowledge; any many more to list.
His consultancy clients include Finland International Agency; Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia; and UNEP/GEF through Biodiversity Authority of India.
Mr Mandal carries with him over three decades of experience in the field of administration, policy planning, program implementation and ultimately as Principal Advisor to the Provincial Government; and finally as Chief Secretary, Provincial Govt. of Jharkhand.
Mr Mandal has dealt extensively with management and judicious use of natural resources of land, water mineral as well as human resources for green, clean and sustainable development harmoniously accelerating the growth of industrialization and urbanization for transformation of the agrarian economy. His areas of specialization are Public Administration, Corporate Affairs, Eco Friendly Management & Conservation of Natural Resources and Human Resource Development.
His corporate experiences includes Bihar State Seeds Corporation; Uranium Corporation of India Limited; ESSAR Group, a multinational and multidimensional corporate house; setting up a 6 MTPA capacity green field Steel plant; exploration of Captive Iron Ore Mines; mining of Coal Blocks and exploration of Coal Bed Methane Gas; Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL); TATA Group; Jindal Group; Reliance Power Limited; and Arcellor Mittal Group.
Mr Mandal represented India in WTO, FAO, WHO, AAFRO, AFMA, CODEX Alimentations Commission Conferences and AFMC held in Rome, Bangkok, Melbourne (Australia), Washington D.C and Seoul (South Korea).
Dr. Hazra has 37 years of varied experience in various aspects of R & D initiatives in farm business. At the national level of a vast country like India, he has guided Cotton, Oilseeds and Pulses Mission, steered and regulated the use of insecticides, fertilizers and seed certification to make the farm business profitable for more than a 100 million farm families.
Dr. Hazra has the distinction of working as Senior Researcher in Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the apex agriculture research organization; as Vice Chancellor of IG Agricultural University, the Centre for higher learning dedicated to agriculture; and Agriculture Commissioner in the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, the apex body for agricultural development in India.
Dr. Hazra has the distinction of receiving several International and National Awards in the field of Natural Resource Management, Biodiversity Conservation, Afforestion and Environmental Protection, and Organic Farming.
