Today’s global food supply chain has become increasingly complex as companies seek greater efficiencies to feed the world’s growing population. Product tracing has emerged as a critical way to determine the attributes and origin of products―from farm to processing to retail and food service, or to the family table.

ITS has used Traceability as a tool to ensure the quality of production and products by providing a mechanism to trace back the history of a produce from farmers’ field, input used, post harvest and market arrival.

The ITS has developed a unique model of traceability providing information related to the origin of a produce in terms of geographical traceability, biological traceability and production traceability reflected through a Barcode System on the produce. We produce traceability solutions for agricultural, horticultural produce and livestock including dairy and fishery products.
